When reports are not available?

You are not able to view previous reconciliation reports and the report options & types are grayed out. This may be caused due to a corrupted or damaged QuickBooks PDF converter when the previous reconciliation were done.

So here are the recommended troubleshooting steps for some of the common issues that you may encounter while running a Previous Reconciliation report.

Note:

You have to always create a backup copy of the company file before trying any of the recommended solutions below.

Solution 1:

Update to the latest release for your version of QuickBooks Desktop.

Step 1 –

Go to the Update to the Latest Release web page.

Step 2 –

Make sure your product is selected. If not, click the Change link and select your QuickBooks product.

Step 3 –

Select and follow the instructions for one of the update options:

Click the Update button to download the update file.

Step 5 –

Click on the Setup Automatic Updates to learn how to set QuickBooks to automatically download

and install the latest updates.

Solution 2:

View Previous Reconciliation Reports without displaying as a PDF file.

Step 1 –

In the Reports menu, click on Banking, and then click on Previous Reconciliation.

Step 2 –

Under the report, include section, and then click on the Transactions cleared with any changes made to those transactions since the reconciliation radio button.
